Tim Stedman

Assistant Athletics Director for Development

Tim became a member of the Spartan family in December of 2005. Prior to MSU, Tim served as Assistant Athletics Director at Northern Illinois University where he oversaw the development office and major gifts area for athletics. While at NIU, Tim spearheaded an $8 million capital campaign to construct a football support facility. During his tenure, Tim was responsible for securing 28 of the 29 largest gifts in the history of Huskie Athletics.

 

Prior to NIU, Tim also held the title of Assistant Athletics Director at the University of Denver where he worked closely with Coach George Gwozdecky (former Assistant Coach under Ron Mason). While at DU, Tim was part of a fundraising team that conducted a successful $80 million capital campaign to construct a state-of-the-art athletic facility. Tim also worked at Troy State University where he raised $2.5 million for the renovation of their football support facility.

 

Stedman attended Western Illinois University where he received his B.S. and later obtained a M.A. in Sports Psychology at John F. Kennedy University in Orinda, CA.
