Dear Ralph Young Fund Donor:
With the conclusion of an impressive 2007 football season just weeks behind us and the anticipated announcement of a talented 2008 recruiting class, it’s time to begin planning for another exciting season of Spartan football. The purpose of this letter is to inform you of changes affecting Ralph Young Fund donor parking for the 2008 Football season.
As you may recall, on August 7, 2007, we wrote to you regarding some anticipated changes in donor parking and more specifically, the inevitable loss of Lot K. Beginning this season, we will permanently lose Lot K due to the renovation of Old College Field. This, along with significant growth in our donor membership, will have a considerable impact on our parking situation for the upcoming season.
We recognize many donors will be affected by these changes; however, please be assured that we will do everything within our ability to minimize the inconvenience of losing a substantial number of parking spaces. As in the past, you will be provided the opportunity to rank your top three parking lot preferences, based on your donor level, on your football season ticket renewal application.
Parking will continue to be allocated in the most fair and equitable manner, based on our established Donor Priority System ~ assigned first by annual RYF membership level, then by lifetime giving within each of these levels. As a reminder, your membership benefits for the 2008-09 sports season will be determined by your total athletics giving from July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2008.
Enclosed is an outline detailing all of the parking changes for the 2008 football season, along with the Ralph Young Fund football parking guide. Should you have any questions regarding your parking for the upcoming season, or how to qualify for a specific lot, please give our office a call at (517) 432-4610.
As always, we appreciate your support of Spartan Athletics. Your generosity helps provide more than 800 deserving Spartan student-athletes a first-class academic, athletic and social experience. Go Green!
Sincerely,

Chuck Sleeper
Senior Associate Athletics Director for Development
